Roma

In Rome and currently loving it. The weather is perfecto: hot in the sun, mild in the shade, and wonderful for outdoor eating in the evening.

So far we have only done a lot of walking: the Spanish steps, the trevi fountain, some churches. I did learn of a potential difficulty for my relationship though.

I have always known about the first piece of the legend of the Trevi Fountain:
If you throw a coin over your shoulder into the Trevi fountain you will
come back to Rome.
Only now have I learned of the following two parts:

Throw a second coin over your shoulder and you will fall in love
with an
Italian.
Throw a third coin, and you will marry that Italian.

On my last visit to Rome with Patricia I tossed the second coin. On this visit, while Ian was tossing his first, I tossed my third. Oops.

I guess I'll just have to hope he's as sweet and handsome as Ian is ;)
